About Captain Bob's Chowder Sisters

Kari's the wizard with the pots and pans, and I'm the one who loves chatting with folks who drop by. We've turned this place into something special, a spot where everyone can grab a tasty bite and feel like they're part of the family. Our husbands grew up here, couldn't wait to leave, and swore they'd never come back. Funny how life works out, right? Now they're back home with us, two ladies who are far from kicking back and retiring.

We got lucky when Captain Bob’s went up for sale. We were buddies with the original owners, who did a bang-up job with the place. When they decided to sell, I just knew I had to keep Captain Bob’s sailing. I jumped in with both feet and pulled Kari out of her chill retirement life to join me.

We've got a simple goal: serve up awesome food that doesn't break the bank. Sure, the tourists help pay the bills, but when they're gone, we're all about the locals. We even give away our leftover chowder to help feed folks in need right here in our own backyard.

We kept the name Captain Bob’s because, hey, if it ain't broke, don't fix it, right? At the end of the day, if we've helped out and made people happy, that's our win. What makes us stand out? Well, we're a couple of grandmas who love to cook and serve. We've got over 15 kinds of chowder on the menu, and we're always cooking up new ideas!
